As the dust settles on another season, the Ballarat Masters want to pause, reflect and plan for what’s next. A recent post on the club’s Facebook page shared highlights: new friendships forged, some memorable wins, and the consistent presence of players staying active, engaged and connected. The club emphasises that in the world of Masters footy — where the motto is “Footy for Fun” — it’s not just about wins but about having the opportunity to keep kicking, keep fit and keep involved.

Now the committee is turning its attention to off-season preparations: reviewing training program feedback, planning a “Thank You” event for all volunteers and sponsors, recruiting for next year’s squad and exploring additional social events (such as a “Club BBQ & Skills Day” or a “Retro Footy Night” themed social). The club’s newly launched website, now in test mode, will play a key role in this forward planning — centralising player registrations, sharing preseason plans and showcasing upcoming events.
To every player, partner, volunteer and supporter: thank you for making this season special. The Ballarat Masters invite you to stay tuned for announcements about preseason sessions, new team merchandise, and the kickoff date for season 2026. Let’s keep the footy alive, keep the community strong and keep the spirit going until we lace up boots again.
